What CloudPLAY Talk includes
| Feature | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Extensions | Short internal numbers to reach colleagues directly |
| Ring groups | Calls to one number ring several people (e.g. sales team) |
| IVR menus | Callers hear "Press 1 for…" when they dial your main number |
| Voicemail | Messages when you miss a call — on the phone or by email |
| Call queues | Callers wait in line until an agent is free |
| Conferencing | Multiple people on one call |
| Softphone | Same extension on your mobile or laptop |
Your extension number
Your extension is your internal phone number — often 3–5 digits. You also have a display name that colleagues see when you call them.
Find your extension on:
- Your desk phone screen (when idle)
- Your welcome email from IT
- The user portal after sign-in
- By asking reception or your manager
Main company number — external callers dial this, then may use an IVR menu or directory to reach you. Your direct line (if you have one) is separate from your extension.
