Your Building Dashboard
View sensors, floor plans, and alerts in CloudPLAY IoT.
Open your site
- Sign in to IoT with the URL from your organisation.
- Select your site or building from the list or map.
- Open the dashboard or floor plan view for that location.
Favourites or default views may be pre-set by your administrator.
Read sensor values
Sensors show a name, current value, and unit (°C, %, kWh, etc.).
| Reading | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Temperature | Comfort, cold storage compliance |
| Humidity | Mould prevention, equipment care |
| Energy | Usage tracking |
| Occupancy | Room booking, HVAC optimisation |
| Door / access | Security awareness |
Tap a sensor for a history chart if available.
Floor plans
Some sites show sensors on a floor plan. Colour changes highlight problems — for example red for high temperature.
Zoom and pan to find the room or zone you need.
When you receive an alert
- Open the notification or alert list in IoT.
- Identify which sensor and which site triggered it.
- Follow your site's procedure — e.g. check equipment, adjust HVAC, or call maintenance.
- Mark the alert acknowledged or add a comment when handled (if your process uses this).
Automations
You may see scenes or schedules (lights, HVAC) that run automatically. Do not change rules unless you are authorised — mistaken changes can affect whole floors.
Report a problem
If readings look clearly wrong (sensor stuck at zero, offline for days), report to facilities or IT with the sensor name and location.
For physical emergencies (fire, gas smell), follow your building's safety procedures — do not rely only on the dashboard.
